PSP GO

The PSP Go is a version of the PlayStation Portable handheld video game console to be manufactured by Sony. It is scheduled for release on October 1, 2009 in American and European territories and on November 1, 2009 in Japan. It was revealed prior to E3 2009 through Sony's Qore VOD service. Although its design is significantly different from other PSPs, it is not intended to replace the PSP 3000, which Sony will continue to manufacture, sell and support.

Unlike previous PSP models, the PSP Go does not feature a UMD drive, but instead has 16GB of internal flash memory to store games, video and other media. This can be extended by up to 32GB with the use of a Memory Stick Micro (M2) flash card. Unlike previous PSP models, the PSP Go's rechargable battery is not removable or replacable by the user. The unit is 43% lighter and 56% smaller than the original PSP-1000, and 16% lighter and 35% smaller than the PSP-3000. It has a 3.8" 480x272 LCD[9] (compared to the larger 4.3" 480x272 pixel LCD on previous PSP models). The screen slides up to reveal the main controls. The overall shape and sliding mechanism are similar to that of Sony's mylo COM-2 internet device.

So what do you think of it? Do you like it? Do you hate it? I think it is a wast of money.

I think it looks stupid. And they still have the PSP. No need for this.

:P Seems like they're trying to copy Nintendo's DSi.

I don't think I'll get this or try to get it, anyway.

I agree with Logan18, however if I could get it for free, I defiantly would.

Is that a slidey screen? If so, that's pretty neat. I also like the internal memory as well.

Well, I think it looks pretty slick, however I'm still in need for a DS and I would still go DS before PSP. =]

If I would get it for free, it would be stupid to say no, if someone would give me a dolar for free I would take it. So, yes I would take it for free, if I got the chance. But if it was get a PSP Go for free or a PSP 3 I would get the PSP 3.

I still think that it's a waste of money, but if it's less than the normal PSP, it's not. ;)

Lol, I'm not planning on getting one unless my psp breaks or something. It's just one of those things where they've improved the psp, but not really done anything to greatly improve it.

Yeah, just like the Nintendo DSi. What they should do is stop making games for the PSP and only make them for the go, they would make more money that way. You never know what they'll do.
