Call of Duty 4 vs Call of Duty : World at War

 I've only played World at War, but I'm wondering about everyone else's opinions. Is Call of Duty 4 better than World at War? But, what makes World at War so special that everyone thinks it's better?

 Well the only thing about waw that stands out is nazi zombies. 4 is just awesome.

Call of Duty 4 by a landslide. Infinity Ward is just so much more talented than Treyarch.

 Call of Duty 4 is way better. The story was way more better because you don't know what will happen and one of character you play as died. Also the online play in Call of Duty 4 is more fair then World at War, where if you have MP40 you own.

 I'd have to say WaW, but only because I don't really like COD's style of shooter, thus the only fun I got out of both games was Nazi Zombies :P Okay, thats not entirely true, I did enjoy COD4 a bit in online multiplayer, much the same as WaW, but the most enjoyable part of both was Nazi Zombies. So WaW wins for me.

But COD isn't my kind of game (e.g. not something I'd go out and buy)

 I've always heard COD4 and COD5 depends on the choice but depending on how many people use each one then COD4 is better because it takes place in a modern time and COD5 is WWII. I've played both and I like COD4.

 Well i would say WaW because of nazi zombies...but sadly my cod WaW disc is broke >.> bout 2 map packs for nothing :-(

COD 4 was a masterpiece of gaming. Michelangelo's David was a masterpiece of the art world. Now if I went and took that statue and made my own version of it, I wouldn't come close to the original creators work.
